US 1 Jupiter Bridge Reconstruction Update | Nighttime Work to Begin Monday, Aug. 21
The contractor has communicated and collaborated with the Town of Jupiter to perform nighttime work in August and September to try to advance the US 1 Jupiter Bridge construction schedule. The nighttime operations will allow the contractor to increase their pile driving production so that they can complete that operation before season starts in October. The contractor plans to begin nighttime operations, as needed, the week of Aug. 21. They will not be driving pile at night.
We are very sensitive to the impact this project has on surrounding stakeholders and to the Town of Jupiter’s noise ordinance. The contractor is permitted to perform work within FDOT Right of Way with no time restrictions. FDOT and the project team’s goal is to accommodate and be good partners to adjacent residents and businesses by doing everything we can to minimize construction impact; we will continue to work with surrounding residents and stakeholders to ensure that this process is as smooth as possible.
