This is a reminder that the JIC Chief of Police Selection Committee Meeting will be held June 27 at 5:00 pm in person and via zoom at the Beach Club.

At this meeting, the Committee’s consultant, Sherry Resnick, will explain the process. The Committee will discuss Ms. Resnick’s finalist recommendations as well as any candidates that Committee members believe are finalists who may not be on Ms. Resnick’s list. The outcome of the meeting will be a “short list” of consensus candidates who will be interviewed at a future public meeting, resulting in a recommendation to the Commission.
As this is a Selection Committee meeting, not a Commission meeting, there will be no public comments. After the meeting, residents are encouraged to send any comments concerning the search after the meeting to the Committee to the Committee members whose email addresses are listed on the website.
