The Town of Jupiter Inlet Colony is a Mayor/Commission form of government where the Mayor, as the CEO of the Town, appoints the Town Administrator.
The Town Administrator is the Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Jupiter Inlet Colony. The Town Administrator's primary obligation is to provide quality of life services to the Town in an effective, efficient and transparent manner. The Town Administrator also implements policy decisions at the direction of the Mayor. Directs the Town's daily activities, prepares and oversees the Town's annual budget, and supervises the Town's employees and departments including the Town Clerk, Deputy Town Clerk, Building Department and Code Enforcement. The Town Administrator's duties also include functions related to Human Resources and Payroll Operations.
Kevin Lucas has been serving the Town as Town Administrator since 2019. He is a member of the Palm Beach County City Managers Association, serving as the Vice President. He is also a member of The Florida City and County Management Association.
Kevin is married to Katarina and they share 3 children. Kevin is also father to 3 adult children. In his spare time, Kevin loves to fish, take care of his family and cook.
